I remember some months back I did a post on tailors and designers. Then since I am still an armature tailor one thing that caught my eye was Elikem who moved around with his measuring tape. I am glad to see his girl wearing one of his pieces. Even in Zimbabwe she wore a tape measure around
her neck to prove her support of her boyfriend’s career as a tailor. A few girls (1 out of 10) will choose a tailor as a boyfriend let alone a
future partner but Pokello is so not looking at the career but the man Elikem
is going to be in the future. Even though they both didn’t come out as winners,
they have shined across the continent , promoted themselves in Zimbabwe and now
in Ghana...love birds.
I follow Pokello on twitter and she just tweeted lovely photos of her in
Elkem’s ‘Elikem Wear’ which again is to show how she is ready to support Elikem
make a lot of his career as a tailor. God bless Pokello and hope she can make
Elikem a way better man. Check out the photos below of how stunning she looked
in ‘Elikem Wear’. I have also spotted Elikem in some hammer pant printed pants. You'll also see her in a African print beaded necklace and clothes by other designers from her country.
She is not only a socialite and fashionista but also an entrepreneur. Two hundred pairs (as of 2011) of shoes later, Nare has translated her love for shoes into a successful business , ‘Addicted 2 Shoes’. The store stocks some of the most well-known brands in foot wear such as Nine West, Steve Madden and Zara. Her store ships to countries across Africa including Zambia.

She has been offered a number of endorsement deals. She signed a major deal with Victory Co and is the official face of the Ndeipi/Zviri Sei Sei t-shirt brand. She also landed a deal with Vault Cosmetics, the beauty line established by LA-based make up-artist, Jackie Mgido.
